Mark has recently finished playing the lead role of Dave Hegarty in Picture You Dead (UK Tour) ~
a brand new play based on the Peter James novel - adapted by Shaun McKenna and directed by Jonathan O'Boyle.
He is also known for playing DI Moore in EastEnders (BBC), Hannibal Lecter in Silence! - The Unauthorised Parody of
Silence of the Lambs (Edinburgh & London) and theatre productions in London's West End, the National Theatre and the Bridge Theatre.Mark's voice over work started in the mid-90's and since then has been heard on TV & radio commercials, video games,
e-learning and more corporate jobs than he can mention! Some of the brands he has worked for include: Disney, Playstation, Ubisoft, Kenco, Huggies, Mercedez Benz, Iveco Trucks, Müller, Mondelez, Rice Krispies, London Transport, Halfords, This Morning, BBC and the RSPCA. Mark has also recorded the audiobooks: In Lieu of You by best selling author Keith A Pearson
and the autobiography Armed and Dangerous by John Hilton.Having previously performed stand-up comedy at venues including The Comedy Store (London), Leicester Square Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford East, Mark was a Best New Comedian finalist at the Golden Jester Comedy Awards (2013) and was voted ‘One to Watch’ by comedy website Jokepit.He is also a multi-award-winning screenwriter. His last screenplay, My Week With Maisy, was produced by
French Fancy Productions and starred Dame Joanna Lumley. It screened at the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre
in Hollywood as part of the Hollyshorts Film Festival and as well as playing film festivals worldwide, it went on to win many awards, including: Best Comedy at HollyShorts (LA/London), Diversity Award at Short Shorts Film Festival (Japan), Best Women’s Short at Cleveland International Film Festival (USA) and qualified for the 2025 BAFTA Awards.
