
Mark Oxtoby is a critically acclaimed British actor and writer.
Notable work includes: Hannibal Lecter in Silence! The Unauthorised parody of Silence of the Lambs (Edinburgh Festival and subsequent London run), for which Mark received critical acclaim for his performance; D.I. Moore in EastEnders (BBC) and the lead role of Dave Hegarty in the new play Picture You Dead (UK Tour) - based on the book of the same name, written by Sunday Times best-selling author Peter James, which again saw Mark receive huge critical praise. Other work includes appearing in theatre productions for the National Theatre, Bridge Theatre and the Almeida Theatre. As a writer, French Fancy productions turned Mark's multi-award-winning screenplay My Week with Maisy into a BAFTA qualifying short film starring Dame Joanna Lumley, which is currently streaming on Disney+.
